Ilyssa Wexler had a very successful career in New York City on Wall Street. She has a B.A. in Communications, a teaching CELTA, is affiliated with NAFSA, and acted as a Communications Director in Sydney, Australia where she lived for a year prior to moving to Italy. She has collaborated in the past with some of the most important language schools of Tuscany (International Academy, Berlitz, and Live Institute ect.). Now she is a Professor for the European School of Economics. As well, she is a teacher at the Italian high-school Poggio Imperiale in Florence, Italy. The experience of traveling abroad was a life-changing experience for Ilyssa, and this was a driving force that motivated her to create Love.Live.Learn.



Ilyssa founded L.L.L with the goal of providing personalized programs in New York City. She aims to provide the opportunity for as many travelers as possible to go abroad, and is able to guarantee true cultural immersion experiencing New York with a real New Yorker.

Ilyssa says that the most rewarding part of her job is seeing the transformation that takes place in students when they have really learned something. Her goal is for her students to depart for New York eager and curious and return as world citizens. She is passionate about helping others change their own lives through education.
